Updated: 5th Oct 2005 at 11:33 PM - Nightlife update
Nightlife update: I don't yet have Nightlife, and haven't had a chance to test the hack with Nightlife. In fact, I haven't even booted into Windows for several weeks. There seem to be some reports of abduction babies being born with only one parent (e.g. no Pollination Tech father). It's happening to people without this hack, so I think it's a new bug/feature in Nightlife to make it possible for Aliens to breed without it being incest. Completely lame IMO (might be fixable with a hack; not sure). There are also problems with some of the triplets/quads hacks and Nightlife, so if you're having problems, you'll want to get updated versions of those hacks.

Until I get a chance to try nightlife (or some other modder feels like taking over this project), the multiple pollination-technician hack should be considered UNTESTED with Nightlife. Use it at your own risk.

-----------------------------------------

Building on my original multiple pollination technicians hack, here is a set of four completely new alien pollinators. The most popular request seemed to be green skinned, black eyed aliens with more attractive facial features than the original PT. Everyone seems to like the giant eyes, but not the smashed nose. These four all fit that theme, and all four hair colors are covered. And, of course, pointy ears all around.

(Note: I decided to call all of them "Pollination Technicians" even though two of them are female. It doesn't make sense to call them Birth Queens any more than it makes sense to call the others Colony Drones. They're not queens birthing, they're technicians pollinating. And you're supposed to say flight attendant, not stewardess.)

The new Technicians:
Pollination Technician #14 (GUID 0x000B4415)
Pollination Technician #35 (GUID 0x000B4416)
Pollination Technician #59 (GUID 0x000B4417)
Pollination Technician #88 (GUID 0x000B4418)

This version of the hack will choose from these four instead of the original or the ones I distributed with the previous version of the hack. You should overwrite the "Multi_Pollination_Technician.package" file in your downloads directory. You do not need to delete any of the old pollination technicians. In fact, if you have any sims fathered by any of the old ones, you should not delete them.

As always, it's a good idea to have a backup of your game before testing hacks.
