Alright.

So the collar was something new I tried. For some reason the mesh kept flipping because I had to import the hoop from the original hidden Maxis bracelet. I don't know how to make a hoop in Milkshape. I used the lens to make the gems there, you know, it was worth a shot and I think it looks okay. The o-ring and the holder for it is a different piece from the rest but I didn't feel like recoloring it this time. The issue here is that the ring is sometimes altered by the face shape. It's not a huge deal, but I will be honest, you can see a little scrunching up close. I had to assign this to the head because assigning to the neck didn't work. If anyone knows why, shoot me a message. The helmet is just something I tried to see how messing around with the lens shape could work. Maybe you could use it for a story or something, or give me suggestions on changing it. I stopped before the polys got out of control. You have to use short hairstyles with it, but it works with men and women.

So the other thing is, since maybe some of you know about this stuff, I'm sure you noticed scythe and the nightstick when extracting meshes. Has anyone tried to use them? Are they out there somewhere? Do they make good base meshes? What's the best way to clean off all the crap that messes it up when importing it into another mesh? I also was extracting some of the nightlife meshes, does anyone know if these will with the base game if I change them around, I don't want to do something that only people with the ep will enjoy (my main reason being all the different coloring options and the like with the goggles). Are there tutorials around for this? I like the idea of using the lens parts as gems, but I don't know anything about the awesome reflectivity some of the new stuff uses. I remember seeing something in the main saved sims package, but I don't know what the different options are.

Yeah, so don't spread this stuff around and please show me your recolors so I can link them here. I say this only because if I have to change anything I want it to be in an easy to find place. And as usual, message me with any problems or questions or whatever. If you'd like to request something, please find a picture of it and message me with the link.

Thanks,

-W.
