Added a small addition to my Candles Galore set. I had a request to do a zen type candle thing and so I did. Three candles on recolorable bases with small stones in front of the candles. Go get some zen.

OK, so today is my birthday. I try to keep them in perspective by telling myself that birthdays are actually just the number of planetary cycles that have happened since I was born. It doesn't really mean anything. Right?

And no, I won't tell you how old I am.

ETA: I hit the 100,000 mark on my birthday! Cool.

I have entered the MTS2 ancients contest. It is my first ever contest entry and I used it as an opportunity to make something I have never made before. The main challenge was dealing with the poly counts, yet keeping the object attractive and close to my vision. The first time I put everything together, it was more than 60,000 polys! I got it down to 6,000 and for this type of object I am hoping that is reasonable. No, I won't tell you what it is, as I want to keep it as a surprise. I just hope it gets accepted. Won't that be a bitch if my contest entry gets rejected? Yeah, I am nervous. Go figure that one.

In other news, I am counting down to 100,000 downloads! My first real milestone here and it has taken me almost a year. I am coming up on my year anniversary of CC creating and I cannot believe how much I have learned in this last year. Mucho thanks to Numenor, Echo, Tiggerypum, Ignorantbliss, Lethe, Delphy, Hystericalpyroxism, JWoods, Qaxi and a BIG, SMOOCHIE thanks to Wes_h. You guys all rock and I am amazed at how generous and just damn smart you all are. If I was only half the creator you are I could die a happy woman.

ETA: My neighborhood object for the contest was accepted and is up! WOOHOO!!

Obviously I did not get the candle set up by last weekend. I have basically finished it, I just have pictures and stuff to do for it. I have one part on TSR and the second part will be released Saturday over there, however I wanted to release the entire set at one time here instead of doing it in parts. So, I will be messing with the pics over the next few days and will get the whole set up here as soon as I can. It will be a huge candle set! The largest single set I have ever attempted. There are nine different candle meshes with candle recolors and base recolors for a total of 79 different candles. Unless I decide to do some more recolor options. God help me if I do.

So, I am back from vacation and I am resuming a project that got put on hold. Look for it this weekend, hopefully.

I am working on a request right now and as soon as that is done, I am going to do one of two things:

1. Work on a candle set OR
2. Finally finish the darn anatomical set.

Then I am heading out of town for a while.

Darqstar and I are going to be releasing a new set. A bedroom this time inspired by Ethan Allen's Horizons set. Like last time, I am doing the meshes and she is doing the recolors. She says she will be done by the end of the week.

So, I am in collaboration with another creator on yet another set. This one is going to be less serious and more fun/frivolous than the kitchen set. I am interested to see the reaction. I am hoping that the set is almost completed and will be up by next weekend. I am actually using it now in my legacy house and I love it. Of course, I love my co-creators stuff more than my own. Isn't it weird that I always like other people's objects more than I like my own stuff.

In other news, my cat just puked in my shoes.

The new kitchen set is out. It is by me and Darqstar who did all the walls, floors and recolors. Check it out. I am rather proud of this set.

Here is a link to the kitchen set. I am waiting for Darqstar to do the recolors and then it will be uploaded. I am not sure if she wants to upload the recolors separately or if we will upload them together.

As far as the diamond collars are concerned, I really suck at the whole texturing thing. I have done a couple, but I am honestly not sure whether I should even upload them here. I actually figured more people would do collars once the package was put together as it is really easy to do.
