A new house!

Date Posted: 9th Aug 2011 at 9:31 PM

I created a new house, called Serafina, and it's a Mediterranean starter. Several of my old friends around here had asked for one of my Mediterranean houses in the Sims 3, and here it is, finally lol. After what, two years? Something like that...yikes.

But anyway, it should be ready any time soon if it isn't already. Enjoy! (And don't forget to drop me a line here and say hi, I miss talking to my friends around here, and I always love to make new ones.) :lovestruc

And...sorry it took me so long! It's been a busy summer; we've been working on our house in real life.

I'mmmmm baaaacccckkkkk!!!

Date Posted: 30th Jun 2009 at 12:44 AM

So here I am, after a long break. Actually, I've been enjoying playing the Sims instead of just building. But of course with the Sims 3 available now, I couldn't resist getting back into the building community again, after being away for so long. My newest house, Galleon Bay, has been submitted and is in the moderation queue. It's an ultramodern luxury home for the Sims 3.

Also, I have submitted Cardiff, a traditional luxury home with a contemporary twist (also for the Sims 3). They should hopefully be available for download soon, so keep an eye out for them!

See you soon, and hugs!

I've been busy. . .

Date Posted: 29th Nov 2008 at 2:32 AM

My hubby got me Mansion & Garden Stuff as an early Christmas present. So I decided to celebrate with a little building fest.

So, I have a batch of new houses (six of them!) currently in playtesting. They should be uploaded sometime in the next few days or so. I made them for specific families in my game (several of my families needed new houses), but of course I couldn't resist sharing them here. And none of these houses contain any CC. Woohoo!

See ya soon!

Rosewood Trail

Date Posted: 25th Nov 2008 at 9:50 AM

The next house in my Country Estates Series, Rosewood Trail, has been uploaded and is now in the moderation queue. Hopefully it will be released for you to enjoy soon.

It's been a while, eh? I've been busy in real life (as always, lol), and recently upgraded my PC from XP to Vista (yay!). So that's kept me pretty busy too.

Now my next goal is to get Mansion & Garden Stuff (I can't wait!). Maybe for Christmas. . .

See ya soon!

Hi everyone! Haven't been around in a while (have been busy in RL), but I just got the Apartment Life expansion pack (yippeee!!!), and am resuming work on my next house. I had actually started the house a few months ago, and am just now getting time to finish and playtest it.

So look for my next house, coming soon!

IKEA!

Date Posted: 16th Jul 2008 at 7:42 AM

Oh yeah, oh yeah. I am so excited. I just got IKEA Home Stuff and am ready to begin my next batch of Carmel Bay houses (the first batch of ten houses has been uploaded and is currently in the moderation queue). Now if Apartment Life would just come out so that I could make an apartment complex for the project. . .

See you soon!

The Carmel Bay Project

Date Posted: 18th Jun 2008 at 4:41 AM

I began designing a new neighborhood for my game, with all new residential and community lots. I decided to share the lots here as a whole new series, which I will call (for lack of a better name) the Carmel Bay Project (that's the name of my new 'hood in my game).

What's different about these lots (as opposed to my usual creations) is that they don't use any custom content, are decorated with neutral color schemes (similar to real-world tract houses) that can be adapted to many different furnishing styles, and are specifically designed for strategic and efficient gameplay (though beauty is still an important factor, of course). And the set will include a variety of community lots.

The first batch of houses has been successfully uploaded, and includes several starter homes and a few larger and "legacy" homes. They are currently in the moderation queue.

Whispering River Lodge

Date Posted: 6th Jun 2008 at 5:44 PM

My next house, Whispering River Lodge, has been successfully uploaded and is now available for download here. You can see the full tour of it here, at MikeInside .

It's based on a real-life mountain cabin that my hubby and I built. I actually designed it for my sim family to move into to celebrate their job promotions and new baby, but couldn't resist sharing it here. So far, it only uses one piece of custom content. I thought that doing a real house that has been a part of our family for years would be a good birthday present for myself.
