Live chats for Pizza Fans
Hello, this thread will be about Live chat plans, which you may have seen on the Pizza for everyone thread.but I thought it would be best to start a separate thread as the other thread had kind of been derailed with making previous live chat plans.
Anyway a live chat may be happening again next saturday/sunday depending on what day will be best for members joining and on your time zone. Here are the times for some of the members if you'd like to join the chat, (you don't have to if you don't want to though):
12:00 PM - Leopard
3:00 PM - VerDeTerre
8:00 PM - Pizza + coolsim22
9:00 PM - Viktor + Johnny
10:00 PM - Bobygoud
08:00 AM - Thran
If anyone else would like to join (preferably members me and the other member on the list have spoken to before), comment your country so I can work out your time for the chat
The chat started for the live chat will be: *which is your favourite sims game for console and PC? and do you have any particular memories from the console/PC version?*
the live chats will not be every weekend but when there is one I'll post the info here

Cottage feedback- would be greatly appreciated

The schedule will still be the same for Saturday but after the clocks move then it may need changing a little but I don't know when the times other members will be changing. once everyone's times have gone forward/back then I think the schedule should be able to return to the (in first post).

Maaaayyyybe but remember our loved ones in New Zealand will see their change and the UK's change as additive, not as cancelling each other.
(Time zones weird me out for some reason. I'm fine with math and geometry. Yet anything involving time zones, I'm likely to get wrong, unless I double-check as carefully as Blake's Sim checks faucets. For some reason I just never have been comfortable with them.)

You can put me in Pacific Time, i.e. the zone extending from Tijuana through the US west coast and up into British California. Thank you

I'll list down the topics discussed in this thread after the live chat if that's what you mean by a recap for those who are unable to come.

I totally agree with you there VerDeTerre also the clocks have gone back an hour in the UK now so I'll have to change the schedule when/if another live chat is planned

This Sunday will be alright for me too. If you are able to join can you let me know on this thread before of on sunday.
There are to possible time tables that could be used now some times have/will have gone back, correct me if I'm wrong with the times, also could you suggest which time option may be best, any is alright for me I think.
Option 1:
12:00 PM - Leopard
2:00 PM - VerDeTerre
7:00 PM - Pizza + coolsim22
9:00 PM - Viktor + Johnny
10:00 PM - Bobygoud
08:00 AM - Thran
Option 2:
13:00 PM - Leopard
3:00 PM - VerDeTerre
8:00 PM - Pizza + coolsim22
10:00 PM - Viktor + Johnny
11:00 PM - Bobygoud
09:00 AM - Thran
@Graveyard Snowflake, I am unable to give you a time at the moment as I don't know your time zone, If you are able to join you can send me a PM about your time zone if you'd like so I can give you your time for the chat

2 hours between UK and Netherlans/Germany?. It's still GMT vs CET (GMT +1), according to http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/.

Looks good, although I'll have to take a look at this later, coolsim to make a minor tweak. I know there's a three hour difference between me and Leopard and our clocks will change on the same date. I still don't know if I can join or not, yet. I like your new avatar! |
Thankyou
I may need your help with making the new timetable as you were the one who made the original, if you don't mind

See if this helps.
It does not propose a chat time, it merely says that all the times in any one row happen at the same time.
The North American times are not correct today, but they will be correct starting the day after tomorrow (Sunday morning our time.)
If anyone sees a mistake please let me know, so that I can fix it & not foul everyone up.
I never did like time zones, and I still don't.

You don't need to say sorry. I just thought it was strange, because as far as I know it's always 1 hours time difference between UK and western continental Europe, because DST changes at the same time.

I'm not sure whether I'll be able to make it to a live chat tomorrow if there's one happening. It's my mum's birthday tomorrow so I don't know whether we are going to be doing anything, I've not managed to get her anything for her birthday this year unfortunately.

Thanks, VerDeTerre, unfortunately I don't have any money at the moment to get her anything but when I do I'll get her something. I think I have some card in my room so I'll make her a birthday card, think my parents prefer home made cards better than ones bought from the shop.
I think I'll be available next weekend for a live chat
