I have seen a mod on this website a while back: a mod that better blends genetics between the parents, but I cant seem to find it again. I wonder if you guys can help me out?

No, unfortunately that's not the one. The one I saw made use of more blending between the parents, as in instead of taking a full value of the nose it would adjust the slider between mom nose and dad nose. The mod would do that between all the sliders.
The preview picture, or at least one of the pictures to showcase the mod, has 3 sims on it. They are all sitting with the child sim(ages young adult) sitting in between of them. The child is female and has brown hair.

Edit: google suggests it was named random genetics mod, but it seems to have been deleted? I wonder why...

Yeah I would have also suggested the RandomGenetics mod too only to find out it was already deleted. I found a tumblr post linking to the now deleted MTS download post, and reblogged it. Someone out there might still have it..

Glad you were able to find it, but out or curiosity and caution does anyone know why it was deleted? Are we sure it wasn't causing issues?

That's such a shame, looking on the wayback machine archived mod page it looks like it was deleted some time after may 19th 2021. Regardless, thank you aisquared for sharing the downloads!!

My guess is that they already left the MTS community for good. I checked their profile, and their post count is now zero. Sometime later the account will get deleted, as per site rules..

They deleted the download post, but they didn't delete the file. It's still on MTS servers:
