Default Store content not working on 1.63 after release of 1.66?
I switched the the Origin version of TS3 (from Steam) so that I could downgrade to 1.63 to use Twallan's mods. I installed all the expansions, downloaded all my store content, etc. But when I open the game, all the store content is missing, and when I close the game, it no longer shows as installed in the launcher (I've definitely installed all of it, because it shows up in the installed tab of the launcher BEFORE starting the game).
Is this something EA did to force people onto the latest patch, or am I doing something wrong?

It's not your fault, nor is it them "forcing" people to patch. But it IS a recurring problem that has happened on and off. possible solution here: http://sims3.crinrict.com/en/2011/0...lls-itself.html

Thanks for the help! That doesn't seem to work, but I might just be doing something wrong. I didn't think it was EA locking store content to a patch like that, but I wasn't sure.

So, I deleted everything in the Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/ folder (backed up saves and mods and stuff), then started the launcher, downloaded and installed all my store content, now everything is working just fine.
