Default Sims 4 Patches and Updates
Is every new sims 4 game automatically patched. For example, if a game needed patching but a newer game (stuff pack, ep or whatever) came out, would the download of that patch still be needed that the previous game required?

The patches are to the base game, so you'd be at least offered every one whether or not you had any of the packs. There are ways to avoid getting the patches, but it would leave you with a game that would be incompatible with much of the stuff in the gallery and most mods

Even if I but a stuff pack after the patch has been released-would that stuff pack automatically patch any game prior?

when you went online to download the stuff pack, your patch would download automatically too.
