Default Editing an existing custom mesh?
I'm sorry if a topic like this already exists, I have searched and haven't found an answer...
Anyway, what I'm asking is how do I edit an existing custom hair? I'm new to this and just want to make a few alterations to a hair mesh I downloaded, not start a new one. How do I do this and what programs should I use to get the mesh files from the .package file?

Try to use SimPe,CTU,DABOOBS or TSR Workshop for export the sims 3 package. With TSR you can import a TS3 package. And to edit the mesh you can use Milkshape.

You can use Sims 3 Package Explorer to extract the mesh files (GEOM files) from a package file - I use this and it's very easy to use: http://www.customsims3.com/forum1/Y...?num=1244804085 .

Then read this excellent tutorial on how to create or convert a hair mesh: http://linna.modthesims.info/wiki.p...s_3_Hair_Basics . This tutorial also tells you about all the tools you need to do hair meshes and gives links for where to get them.
