Default Problem extracting packages from Sim3pack store files
Hi,

I've recently had to switch laptops, and I'm in the process of reinstalling sims 3 programmes and utilities, but there's one I can't remember the name for and I've been googling every variant I can think of but not having any luck.

I want to recategorise some store files I purchased. I've extracted the packages using the multiinstaller, but the extracted files won't open in S3PE and it says it's because they're store files.

If I am remembering correctly, there is a utility I could use to fix the extracted package files, which also worked for making older cc objects compatible with pets onwards. I remember what it looked like to use (you dragged and dropped the files to be converted onto the utility programme and it automatically processed them in a window that looked like windows command prompt) but I cannot for the life of me remember what it was called, and neither google or the mts wiki is helping me. Any advice would be much appreciated - it's been some years since I last had to mod my game as I'd got it running just how I wanted on my dead laptop, and I've forgotten a lot of what I used to know!

Thanks!

That would be the Sims 3 Recompressor (S3RC). You can find it here: http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/s...ic,15129.0.html

And I'm not sure if S3RC fixes object RIGs to make them Pets-compatible, I use granthes's RIGFix for that: https://app.box.com/s/ncoo51s80b9xd1cutw8kgfrf8hkh61nf

Tumblr - more downloads! ◾ CC reuploads / creator backupsTS3 CAS Conversion Catalog - for basegame, EP, SP, and Store clothing!
