@angine I find that video a bit unsettling, that's a good thing, right?

@Gargoyle Cat I love me some Goldfrapp, some of their videos are seriously weird! Love that Sims machinima- must have taken ages to produce that! Very impressive. I think Sim Sample used to go to that club!

Gary Numan has been one of my favourites for over 40 years! Love him.

@Wojtek I always liked this singer, her voice reminds me of Pink somehow.

@angine That is very haunting, beautiful!

Marlee is Mark King's daughter, love 'em both.

Been listening to a lot of Jarre lately:

Remember this video, anyone?

It is the epitome of the 80s, I think!

Wow, that's exactly what I was going to say yesterday - except I didn't because I don't know too much about contemporary musicians.

@Wojtek She is very interesting, powerful voice!
@Noa1500 Scary song, very dramatic. Glad you liked the Casiopea, great performers!

I love music with good basslines, as I play bass myself. These are three of my favourite bassists:
Kinga Głyk:

Esperanza Spalding:

Jaco Pastorius:

@Wojtek That girl's voice reminds me of the voice of another Eurovision winner (I'm showing my age! )

I've been listening to these:

^^Chic have to be one of the most sampled bands out there (especially the basslines of the late Bernard Edwards). They are fun to watch live! I hope we have chance to go to live concerts again soon, I miss them!

@ScaryRob I have missed your jokes!

^^Persia is Gary Numan's daughter, and was only 11 when she recorded the track.

This is very true. I've had She's a Lady stuck in my head for days.  Playing the song over and over again didn't remove it either.

There are far worse songs that could be stuck in my head so I'm just rolling with it.

Okay, but did you get the joke?

I watched that yesterday after following your link - hilarious!

I agree with some of the comments that the misheard lyrics sometimes make as much, if not more sense than the real ones.
There was another one on a different channel that shows John Fogerty deliberately singing "There's a bathroom on the right" at one of his live performances. Here's the concert (last verse):

You're posting all kinds of interesting stuff, interesting to me at least. I used to fairly hate this song, back when it was popular in the 70s. Can't put my finger on why. It's somewhat repetitive and not terribly melodic. But all these years later I think it's just the beat that caught on with me and I've had in my mp3 collection now for several years. Still not crazy about Stealers Wheel overall though.

In 1987 when this track was released, it was #1 on my turntable for a long while! Now they are 'Old Maids' like me but they still rock!

Edit: They released a video!

Currently up over here is a compilation called "70 Minutes of Winter and Holidays Nintendo Music"; as of this writing, I've gotten to the Route 216 theme from Pokémon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, switching to Mario Kart 8's Sherbert Land.
