get the EP required version. it doesnt matter which one you have, if you have an EP, you can use the EP version.

Thank you so much, I've been waiting for neighbourhood objects for a long time. This is pretty appropriate for me in particular because I am in the process of applying to uni for a place on an archaeology degree. One of the projects Sheffield uni is working on at the moment is Stonehenge so if I get on the course I'll be out there on a dig next year (hopefully). Maybe this is an auspicious sign :D

Wow! Hey thanks! Perhaps some fake homes to populate my neighborhood with would be nice? I'd certainly say so! Thanks Bob and Numenor!

MTS2 rocks my socks!

Any chance you could tell me how to do this?
I have some grand ideas, but not sure on how to implement new Landmarks.

Wes_H did the leaning tower of Pisa way back in april but this is good stuff.

I've been waiting all this time to be something I can't define.

You're right, I missed it completely. Before posting, I've searched several forums and sites, and I couldn't find anything; you know, searching for "neighborhood" I've found tons of SC4 custom neighborhoods, and few hidden Maxis neighborhood objects, but nothing else.

Wes_h should definitely credited as the creator of the first new neighborhood object. But it was, more or less, just an experiment: the Leaning Tower only works with an EP (though he says nothing about that), and even in an EP game, it has no catalog icon (see attachment).

Thank you anyway: without your pointing me in the right direction, I'd never found Wes_h's post (that, for anyone interested, is over at Variousimmers: LINK.

Just hold on a little
I've already discussed this subject with Quaxi, and the upcoming SimPE v.50 will offer support for the NH objects too.

In the meantime, you can start reading this thread about the fences: the creation of the NH objects will be very similar.
