Default How do you groom yourself?
This applies to all, including men. When appearances matter, do you do full body cleaning and maintenance or just touch up where needed?

Hair:
I am so high maintenance. I have my mother's Eastern European genes, so shaving is a must to keep hairless. I also shave my head every 1-2 weeks as part of that exercise for my paternal family's genes.

Skin:
I have to moisturize as I am usually dry. I also treat any growths with the prejudice in health and beauty. I don't shower often, especially during cold times. Buy I do at least spongebathe at my bathroom sink a la The Sims 2. My face is sometimes treated to collagen facials from Korean beauty products.

Scent:
I only put on non-offending scents and I use pheromones, which aren't scented but still pull people to me.

Adornments:
Makeup is very scarce to see on my face, but I wear either just baby pink lipstick or for culture conventions, I don a panda-like face makeup in a Japanese style, but derided as a nightmarish clown.

Jewelry:
I wear a locket of someone I adore. However, I change the picture when I can. I have two keys from Kingdom Hearts, the same Keyblade, The Kingdom Key, one silver and one gold as a symbol of those I cherish, like the song they teach to kids to cherish those with equal adoration.

Regular morning routine is washing my face and wherever else needs a wash with water (or take a shower), draw a comb through my hair, and I'm good to go.

I don't use makeup or jewlery, and no perfume save for a mildly scented deodorant. If my skin is dry, I use skin cream, usually just on the back of my hands and other dry spots. Lip balm if my lips are dry. And that's about it.

Well, after my butler's washed his hands properly after wiping me following my morning constitutional, I have him take tiny scissors to my genital region and apply a moisturizer and comb out the nest. While this is happening I have the gardeners rubbing oils made infused with the tears of poor people into my skin for that "I could totally run for President, as a Republican even" glow. Mei, my manicurist is tending my nails at this point, trying to stay out of the way of my food taster as they're feeding me my breakfast (Nothing special, just a little organic hand-raised foie gras on homemade artisanal crackers in the morning, thanks.) If anyone bothers me during this, of course we've got to stop for the flogging; but thankfully I've got good help these days. Not like it used to be. My wigmaker usually only comes in on Tuesdays, and he rearranges my fittings. Every Saturday I have some local children come and pluck my back, because I believe in charity, and the escorts come each Sunday to make sure I'm clean inside and out. I'm not much for actually entering water - you've never know where it's been - but every few days I let the staff hand wash me and check me for blemishes.

But you know, I put my cumberbund on the same way everyone else does, with the aid of my attorney.

Not really, almost all the good questions were asked.

I wondered if anyone was the type to do as such. Besides, in terms of toilet paper, do you wad it or fold it?

Think of it as polling in an informal manner.

No makeup, no perfume, I just get dressed, brush my hair, put on deoderant and go.

Same. Well, I bathe and brush my hair, and shave in the warmer weather. That counts, I guess. Special morning routine, though? None. I'm pretty low maintenance.

It's very simple, I get up, brush my teeth, rinse my face, and either untie my braided hair or comb it. If it's a special day I'll try to get away with some heavy mascara and red lipstick.

To clarify, I haven't had a bad case of acne as it is, just a few bumps here and there. My hair is a different story, messy chestnut mane it is.

After getting up the first thing i have to do is taming my hair.
Then i brush my teeth and wash my face. Maybe I put on a little makeup and use deodorant and that's it.

Hair:
Yesterday was the first time I shaved my legs in like 2 weeks. Other than that, hair (on myself) usually grosses me out - though when I have deadlines and exams coming up I'd rather be grossed out by hair than actually go to the effort of getting rid. The hair on my head is of course the exception - and also my eyebrows, I have quite thick eyebrows and I just can't be bothered with anything more than a few plucks here and there to avoid monobrow-land. My hair ends up EVERYWHERE when I brush it when it's dry, so I only brush my hair in the shower.

Skin:
I recently found out I'm now allergic to my daily scrub. So I just wash my face with water in the mornings. My skin doesn't really get much, other than vanilla scrub when I'm in the shower and some gingerbread scented shower gel. Sometimes my boyfriend massages my back at night time with Johnsons baby bedtime lotion.

Scent:
Dove original roll-on deodorant - but when I wear it I get sweaty and think I smell more, so I usually don't wear any deodorant. I've been told I smell nice though, so I guess that's fine.

Adornments:
Nope.

Jewelry:
I always wear this one leather bracelet that looks just like the belt on Slash's hat. I've been wearing it since 2008 or so. I also wear a little black string bracelet with a silver circle on it saying "In loving memory of Mum" - the ones you can get from Card factory. I've worn it constantly for a while now so it's started to go rusty I think. Also a sterling-silver ring with half a golden heart on, and my boyfriend has the other ring with a black heart on - He bought them me for our first valentines day together as he had moved to a different country for uni so we wanted to always feel close, but now I guess it's a habit because we live together and still wear them.

Hair:
I have short, straight, coarse hair. Low maintenance. I usually dunk my head in the shower to get my hair wet, towel dry, then comb it, parted on my left. That's part of my normal morning wake-up routine. I do shampoo and condition every day when I shower because I have very oily hair.

Skin:
I moisturize the backs of my hands with Cocoa butter lotion regularly in the winter. If I don't, they get itchy bumps. I shower daily, every night before bed because I have oily skin and I feel like going to bed greasy is disgusting. I scrub vigorously with one of those scratchy nylon washcloths. I can't skip a day without showering or I will feel disgusted. If I've done anything that makes me sweaty or dirtier than usual like working on the car, then I'll shower twice that day as I take an extra one during the day and always take my nightly one. I never take baths because bathing in my own filth doesn't appeal to me, haven't taken a bath since I was about 4.

Scent:
None. I'm one of those Asians that lacks the underarm odor gene, or is it I have a gene for lacking underarm odor? Whichever it is, wife really appreciates it.

Adornments:
None. I don't wear makeup.

Jewelry:
Wedding band, that's it. I don't like jewelry, it gets in the way and I hit it on stuff.

Also very important to my daily routines is tooth-brushing. I brush twice a day, once during my morning wake-up routine and once after my nightly shower. I brush minimum 5-minutes and also brush my tongue vigorously as the tongue is usually the source of bad breath, and I find bad breath disgusting. I floss once daily, after my nightly brushing.

Really? Ok, you asked. I fold it. I actually pull out as much TP as I guesstimate it will take to get me thoroughly clean and pre-fold it. 2-squares per wipe at home, since I use that fancy double-ply quilted stuff. 5-squares per wipe at work because they have that thin industrial sandpapery stuff and I don't want to risk tearing through the TP. I wouldn't mind to try a bidet, as that seems like it would be so much cleaner and more sanitary.

Hair:
My hair is dyed bright blue/aqua so I have to take extra care with it (since I also bleach it). I use the Splat shampoo and conditioner which is specially for Splat dye, and Redken leave in conditioner. I shave pretty often because I like being smooth and it feels "cleaner" to me.

Skin:
I always forget to moisturize regularly. I do have facial moisturizer with shea butter for when my face gets dry and scented lotion for my body. I use a green tea scrub in the shower to exfoliate.

Scent:
I wear deodorant, of course - it's a men's brand because it works better than women's. I also have some perfume but I don't wear it super often. I like Demeter fragrance's thunderstorm but I don't know that everyone else likes it, so I more often use Bath & Body works' twilight woods.

Adornments:
I wear eyeliner and mascara every day but only some days do I do the whole shebang - foundation, powder, blush, and tinted lip balm.

Jewelry:
I usually don't wear any jewelry, though I have some. If I do feel like wearing it it's usually simple earrings and/or a necklace. I have some jewelry related to my fandoms that I like.

Hair:
Short hair = low maintenance. Any time it looks like it's becoming scraggly I can just go down to the barber.

Skin:
Yes, I have skin.

Scent:
Nothing. Shouldn't a shower be enough? I used to wear cologne to occasions until I went to a... let's say a "motivational business opportunity convention" and this idiot friend that invited us found my cologne in the glove compartment and started dicking around and sprayed me with it. The next person I met had this to say: "What is that? Do you bathe in it?" So yeah, no more artificial scents. I would rather smell lightly of sweat than wear cologne or smell exactly like deodorant.

Adornments:
None.

Jewelry:
A nice watch is good enough. Good enough means not plastic, but metal.

A morning roll in the grass, hose me down, a once-over with the curry brush, maybe a quick hoof-picking. I'm just an animal.

Well, with my allergies to sulfates (and sulfur, and sulfas), let me tell you finding products has gotten fun. I've just about gone all-natural granola girl in my bathing routine just to get away from sulfur-derived things.

Hair:
I usually were it in a ponytail. I hardly brush it unless it becomes overly knotted. I don't dye my hair or really style it much at all.

Skin:
Skin? What about it? It is pale and dry. And I don't care about tending to it unless I'm washing it in the shower.

Scent:
Occasionally I'll wear cologne. Drakkar Noir is my favorite scent. But I usually only wear it when I'm going out or I'm too lazy to take a shower.

Adornments:
Occasionally I'll wear eyeliner and either dark red, black or dark blue finger nail polish. Depends on my mood and the length of my nails.

Jewelry:
I'm always wearing a dark grey cross necklace, and a pair of black beads around my left wrist. And when I mean always, I really do mean always. Shower, toilet, sleep. I never bother taking them off.

Hair: needs cutting, its been falling out since 1993. I rarely wash it (iyeah, i know i should keep it nice), rarely brush it, and just pull it into a pony tail, most days. My hair, when loose, has a habit of getting in my way, and pissing me off.

Skin: its the stuff that covers my body, and it dont get much attention. Needs a good scrub, now. It can wait until tomorrow. CBA right now.

Scent: only deoderant. Occasionally perfume, when i can be bothered.

Adornments: none. Oh yeah, my glasses, if they count?

Jewellery: again, none, though sometimes, studs in my lugs.

Yep, im a female, and i dont take care of myself as i should.

Hair: Shampoo and conditioner for dry hair/scalp. Occasionally I do the whole mask in your hair thing when I can be bothered.
Skin: La Roche Posay balm because so far its the only moisturiser thing that I've come across that doesn't make my dry skin drier, or have a smell that eventually makes me feel sick. Can't use lip balm if lips are chapped, so vaseline. FACT: the anti allergy thing is a lie.
Scent: I use scentless deo because some scents are just...just no. Can't use all sprays or brand eg. 8x4 (that shit is dangerous). No perfume because I hate how it smells on me. I should probably go get myself checked out for allergies.
Extras: probably allergic to makeup and I'm too lazy for jewellery. On even lazier days I wear my glasses instead of lenses

Hair:
I can't afford getting it cut, so I just trim it down once in a while. Therefore, not much need for hair maintenance.

Skin:
I'm allergic to a lot of chemicals all of a sudden, so even though I have very dry skin, I rarely use anything for it, cause it tends to make it worse.

Showering:
I don't shower very often. Partly because of lack of motivation, and partly because my apartment is so unrealistically crappy and falling apart, that it seems futile. But when I do shower, I'm very very thorough and only use products without perfume and certain chemicals.

Scent:
Again, very sensitive to chemical smells, so if I ever wear deoderant, it's a scentless or very mildly scented anti-persperant.

Generally, I'm not the most well-groomed guy out there, even though I would like to be. When I do go outside, I tend to be completely covered up with a jacket, even if it's hot outside, wearing sunglasses and a beanie (so who can tell I didn't shower?) All black, so one time when I walked outside at night (usually where I'm awake), an elderly woman who was walking towards me, crossed the street to the other sidewalk when she saw me, lol. Probably doesn't help that 85% of my clothes is more holes than fabric, so I look like a vagabond with something to hide.

I just made myself sound real attractive, didn't I :D
