Are you going to do the same thing with the 'hoods from Pet Stories? Please say you're planning to!

A more random question... I know most people loath townies but I love them, and like to have the "correct" townies for the each neighbourhood. I own Life Stories; is there any way for me to copy the townies from the 'hoods there and add them to these hoods?

Yes, we're going to re-create the Pet Stories neighborhoods as well. We actually already did and only have to add the sims... so it should be available very soon!

As for the townies, you could clone those townies using SimPE and recreate them in the neighborhood. Then you can use the Teleporter Shrub or Teleporter Cat to convert them into real townies.
If you don't know how to do that, I could explain it to you as well!

And I have heard of this process before but don't actually know how it's done. Could you explain it or link me to a good tutorial or something. Is it as slow as it sounds, having to do each individual townie separately? And is there any chance of corruption (not that I know much about corruption but know I want to avoid it). Thanks!

That's wonderful news! I love the Pet Stories neighbourhoods, Midnight Masquerade especially, but there are so many borked faces there that I had no idea how to fix on my own. We're lucky to have you guys on the case

We firstly want to upload our current project (Emerald Heights), and after that, we'll get to fix the sims' faces and then, the n'hoods will be available for upload.
The neighborhoods on their own are finished, so, the empty versions are already ready!

And no, there's no chance of corruption. And yes, you have to do all individual townie separately, but in CAS, you can create them in groups.
Alternatively, you could re-create the townies using the pictures on the Sims Wiki. Then, you can see what aspirations/names the townies have and you wouldn't have to use SimPE.

I was hoping someone would do this someday! I've attempted to recreate Sims 2 Pets from PS2 myself for a little side project, so seeing these kind of uploads makes me happy!

Geez I wish this and Bitville had come with no sims version since they barely have vacant residential lots for my next legacy.

I never uploaded it but I do have Bitville without sims in it http://simfil.es/22844/ You may need to renamed/renumber it for it to work because I think it has the same as the full version does.

thank you for the update! i was always pondering about adding FC to my PV and I thought that it'd be a pain to update all relationships so it goes in par with the end of story mode, this solves all my issues lol

Thank you very much ❤️ making the neighborhoods from life stories and pet Stories available in the Sims 2 , is a dream coming true for someone who is very nostalgic but feels limited in these 2 versions , if you guys are able to extract the houses from the house bin in life stories and make them available for download , that would be amazing ! because they got great houses in there.

I don't think we ever made a detailed change log, I'll later add one though for this neighborhood, as well as for Bitville. Basically, we updated the BG compatible main hood version in a Uni+NL+OFB EP game to give all the sims their correct lifetime wants from Sims Life Stories, as well as give all the lots a make-over (add missing EP objects and/or update some of the BG floors and wallpapers with the ones that came with EPs) to make them match better with how they looked in Sims Life Stories.

We still decided not to use any CC, as MTS's upload policy does not allow that.. so you don't technically need the converted Sims Life Stories objects/wallpapers/floors, but if you have them, you could even make the lots look exactly like how they were in Sims Life Stories.
