Though my Dad refuses to play that game, he'd be happy seeing those Parrots, 'cause they're his favourite animals

Use this cheat = Moveobjects on
then zoom inside the cage and in build mode click the BIRD and you can take it out of the cage (I think)

Love these ideas and I have a good idea for you. Instead of just having real bird species you should try to make fantasy birds for magic and fictional sims. I would do it myself but i don't know how to create stuff other than bodyshop and homemaker tools and I havent downloaded any other programs. Ideas could be Pheonix, Chocobo, Sunset Glubber, Ikran (Flying Banshees from the movie AVATAR), Dragon Babies, etc. Just an idea though you dont have to feel obligated to make this type of mod.
