Hi!.. i'm so sorry if this was asked... and i'm not sure if this will get banned or something for requesting-ish it. But is there a possibility to make a mod specially for laptop mode? The only thing that is different is the sim light that is considerably darker. thanks and again, sorry. i would do it myself.. (if i knew how..and understand what are all the strings and tittles refer to)

I never found any XML files or settings about Laptop Mode, and I've looked for them a couple of times. I think the problem with the darker sims is because of the settings for laptop mode in the GraphicsRules.sgr file.

I think this needs updating thanks to the May 2015 patch. Some interiors seem dark again.

I posted this on Shimrod's thread on the Sims 4 forums as well, but I don't have an issue with the interiors being dark. I just have issues with the sims by themselves being dark. I wonder if the patch maybe messed with something. Hopefully, Shimrod, when you get a little time, you'll be able to look into this further. Still the BEST lighting mod out there!!

I agree, I don't think this is working properly or they changed how sims are lit inside. Is Shimrod AWOL? I will miss these mods!

thanks for replying!, i understand. I tried fenoodeling with the file but it causes major glitches (i'm running intel graphics.. yeay me)

A for the other comments above me, i'm experiencing darker sims too.. i get the risk of having my notebook melt if i don't check my temp stats.. and this guys mess with the light in normal mode too???. If my sims are darker now, i can't imagine how they are in laptop mode. completely black!

Not really sure if you still keep tabs on this. But I just want to let you know that your mod doesn't seem to work well with the new patch that added the town NewCrest.
There are a few select lots in NewCrest that will hang on loading or saving with your mod in place. So far, I've tested 3 lots that seem to have an issue with your mod (Avarice Acres, Asphalt Abodes, Tranquil Crescent).

After removing your mod, the game didn't hang on loading or saving with these lots anymore.
Strangely, other lots seem to work normally.

Thanks.

Can you please update this to the September patch? It causes glitches in my sims' needs and when I remove it they go back to normal. I love this mod and I would like to continue using it. Thanks!
