This is excellent!! I always pick a color theme for each Sim, and I'm always running into the problem of not having every clothing item in that particular color. I usually just go with color and not style, but if I have the same color/style in each category I'd love it! It's just the kind of order I love. Thanks! And I'll look forward to more such sets (I hope!!).

Will future sets be with solids and other patterns? As much as I love pinstripe, I wouldn't want too many Sims in the same pattern.

It never even occurred to me, but I love the idea of themed wardrobes like this. Great job! I hope you'll make more for us!

Nope, you're not the only one; all my Sims have coordinated wardrobes. These are excellent outfits. Thanks so much for sharing them.

You Go Girl!!!
YOU GO GIRL "It just makes you look like a moron when someone inevitably calls you on it (and they will), and you're racking up a lot of negative artistic karma, and your genitals will shrivel and your eyeballs will fall out. So there."

because she is right, they always will get caught, even though our sim community is quite large, spanning across many 100's of web sites and to the 4 corners of the planet, they always will get caught, because our community is a tight-knit one.

I, for one, would definitely like to see more sets like this. Perhaps for other ages as well?

I color code my sims' wardrobes most of the time... even for the kids. Helps me keep them straight.... it's not in real life it would be like that, but in RL we're not watching everyone from a bird's eye view

I always do color themes when I dress my sims especially females just because I want the make-up to match every occasion. Thanks for this it is great.

These are awesome. Maybe I'll upload some more themed sets...

Anyway, this is a little off-topic: This dude is stealing a bunch of your stuff and calling it his own. What a jerk! "I was laying in bed a night when I had a great idea. Sparklies!" He's here.

Yeeeah whatever boblishman wouldn't tell him how to make them anyway.

I do the same thing! Theme my outfits. Easier to keep track of them that way, and I love a good theme. Thanks so much for sharing! Consider yourself sufficiently encouraged to replicate your success....

Yeah, I know about that guy, flyingpigeon. The text on the sims and in his blog is directly copy-pasted from my Sparklies post. He's a moron, and has shriveled genitals, and smells of stinky cheese. *shrug* I ain't gonna let that stuff bother me anymore. I want to enjoy this stuff. Anyone who downloads it from him won't even have it work in their game anyway as clothing/hair/accessory meshes don't get included with full sims when you upload them on the Exchange, so... nyaaaah to anyone who puts my stuff up there without giving credit.

Anyway, back on topic, and in response to previous questions, yes, I'm going to make more sets. Probably not more stripes just like this for adult men (though I may do these same themes for other ages or something at some point, I dunno), as I'd like to have some variation, but different patterns and outfits. I may also do a few different casual outfits for each theme. I don't change my sims' clothes a lot (um, ever, really, except if I'm taking pictures), but might be nice to give them some options. I may do some stuff for other ages and I'll probably end up doing some women's clothing, but it'll probably be mostly stuff for men. There's tons of cute, chic clothing for women, but I find for some reason in men's clothing (with some noteable exceptions of course - fanseelamb for one's been making a lot of great versatile sets for men for a long time), you get a lot of graphic tees, latex, mesh, and super-gothic stuff, but not a lot of stuff that Dad might wear to hop in the minivan and pick up the kids from soccer practice, so I'm probably going to concentrate on stuff like that.

I may also do some "chic gothesque" stuff in a similar idea (themed set for all clothing types) as I like having spooky sims, but I find some simple, basic stuff that one might wear on a daily basis is hard to come by.

I also have a lot of other stuff I'm working on (baked goods, skintone, makeup, various other meshes and recolours) oh, and um, the female Cherub, so, y'know, no guarantees WHEN but... I have lots of things coming, um, eventually.

And here I thought I was the only one who liked to use a color theme when dressing my sims! I love what you've done and greatly appreciate all the hard work you do to make great creations. Especially since I can't do any of it myself. So thank you, thank you!

Hello
Yes! I love this. I didn't know I needed it untill you created it. LOL
I would very much be interested in more sets like these. Maybe some in grey, as well as brown and navy blue, and tan. I know these colors are bland but my business men need stylish sets for the office and my lawyers are lacking also in quality well tailored suits.

Argh, I forgot the model credits didn't I? I'll try to fix that soonishly. The skin's the dark from SimCribbling's newer skin sets.

I dress my sims that way too!

Thank you so much for these, they all look awesome! It's great to have some more "normal" clothes that aren't graphic tees or leather pants for our poor men. Not that there's anything wrong with leather pants once in a while.

I just downloaded both sets, which are AWESOME. Great work.

The Chocolate Raspberry has just become the official (for my game) uniform for the new restaurant I'm building.

Thanks for sharing.

Default Southern gentlemen
I love what you've done! I've just started with Sims 2 a couple of months ago but probably have every "normal" outfit created for men. Several of my men are Southerners, Houstonians, in fact, and I've noticed there's a real dearth of clothes for them. I have one fellow, in this case an elder statesman, who needs a blue/white very thin-striped seersucker suit, made for the heat down here. He's a politician in the Tx. state government.
All the older men's clothes suck actually, as does the Mesh for both older genders. All my Houstonians need some lightcolored suits and PJs that look they are light-weight fabric. Like silk or cotton PJs (both long and bermuda length), silk/linen suits, and some sedate cowboy hats and boots to wear with them. I have one fellow who's an Scottish architect who lives in Houston and he really needs some plaid shirts over black round-neck t-shirts. No one seems to make the regular, is it crew neck? round neck at any rate, short-sleeve t-shirts for the men. It's like with women, people tend to make them showing as much skin as possible. The professional man doesn't wear those wife-beater t's. They don't wear those short skin-tight swim suits either, or loud ones of any fit. They are in desperate need of some slightly looser suits with a short leg. They could use some nice tennis outfits, plain white, perhaps with a little line of sedate trim and some jogging shorts/outfits. All the Polo-type knit shirts I can find seem to be intense jewel tones too. Guys down here would burn up in those. Fellows down here play a lot of golf too, especially the older ones but I haven't seen any golfing clothes.
Whew, didn't know I had all that in me. Anyway, thanks for the professional clothes. We sure do need them.
