Modding the AwesomeMod
I've had the AwesomeMod in my game forever, and for the most part it is awesome...but I keep wishing I could change some things about it for my own personal use.
Has anyone ever tried modifying it?

I am new to modding (but I do have some experience with several programming languages, excluding .NET). But what I immediately notice is that if I make even the slightest of changes (for example add a space in the AweCore.il, remove it again, save, create the dll, and put it back into the .package), AwesomeMod will complain that it is corrupt and will force stop the game.
Does anyone know how to circumvent this?

Yes but that does not have the options I want.

Your best bet is to ask over on MATY, though I suspect this is probably by design.
