Default Riding hat as accessory or hair?
Hello, I am looking for a riding hat for the Sims 2, as either an accessory or a hair, so that I can put it on my sims when they are about to ride Rebecah's horses.

I have googled and searched and can't find one, has anyone seen one please?

I've added a picture of what I'm looking for.

Thanks to anyone who can help!

Aww... yeah... This one. I finished up all except the 3t2 riding hat, which is still hanging out in my "to do" list about as long as Santa's naughty and nice lists combined... (the rest of the hats are here in case anyone were looking for them). I had plans to combine it with some hairs, but got distracted by a few other projects. Haven't forgotten the riding helmet, because I need it for a future thing, so at some point I'll probably finish it.

There are some bike helmets here:

Not a perfect solution, but at least something to put on their head?

(And perhaps I'll kick myself into doing something with that project... )

Thanks to both of your for the links, I'll give them a try.

I didn't have much luck when I tried meshing accessories myself, as they wouldn't show up in game, I never worked out what the issue was, as they showed up in Milkshape and my clothing meshes worked fine.

There are a few horse objects which I was meaning to try and convert from TS3 to TS2 myself, but haven't got round to yet, the main ones were a haynet, which I found a TS3 version of, and banks for my stables (although I couldn't find any, so would probably have to make a new mesh).

As a real life horse lover, it would be nice to have more realistic stuff for my TS2 horses (Rebecah's horses), I've been lucky and found most things, except the haynet and banks.

Hopefully I'll get to those old projects at some point

@simmer22 did you ever finish the riding helmet? I would be interested as well.

I'll see if I can finish them up sometime soon if I can figure out what I did with the files. I had them half done somewhere, or at least extracted (TSRW is a pain to get to work...)

(But remind me if I seem to have forgotten, because I have the memory of a leaky sieve at the moment

EDIT: Had the base files done, decided to add infants (helicopter parenting maybe, or just for fun on baby pictures with rocking horses or some such - I don't know) and then made (a ton of - well 14) recolors, 8 single-colored ones and 6 patterned ones. Just have to test them out ingame to check a few things. They work with some hairs, though probably not the majority of poofy CC ones. Also found a neat way to "cheat" infant thumbnail pngs for some accessories (Cigen files can be surprisingly useful)...
