Default anime fanfiction......
i tried encouraging people to read mine on a website. all they did was complain about how bad it was. it hurt. now i think they're all assholes!
i tried to write a dragonball action piece based on my own character sparrow..i wonder what i did wrong?

You could always post up in the Creative Corner and get constructive criticism. People aren't always going to tell you how awesome your stuff is (if it's not), but at least here they aren't allowed to call you names and just tell you how much it sucks.

Also, you may want to run your character through the Mary Sue litmus test, if that's part of the complaints you're receiving. That tends to be a common problem with fan-created characters in fanfiction, from what I've observed.
