console command: Change Clock Speed :D
open up your console and write:

Code:
clock._set_milliseconds_per_sim_second 1000

You will make the game run at the same speed of real world.

Change the 1000 in the command to any other speed of choice.

in my game it glitches a bit with the job times of the sims, but i think it can be fixed by python

This is wonderful... but does it make everyday tasks take longer too? Or does this give my sim more free time in the day?

I am at work and super excited now and want to go home and play with this.

Also.. what is the default setting?

Do your settings stay on when you save the game? Do we have the use of the entire python script for this? Like, could we type sim.Dina.height=14.7, or hunger_motive_decay_per_second=15?

The default clock speed (I THINK) is 0. But it's not that much of a bother, because if you just exit the game and re-enter, you'd have to re-enter the cheat to set the slow clock speed again.

But wouldn’t a clock speed of zero (real seconds per sim second) mean that your game speed runs infinitely fast?

Careful with that, not that you turn your computer into a wormhole =P

I did some math and and I think, the default speed would be something between 16 and 17 milliseconds per sim second, if we assume that 1 sim minute = 1 real second.

The default speed is 30, according to IceM over in the Time Speed Changer mod.

Hey, IceM...I love your mod but it stopped working for me anymore when City Living came out. Am I doing something wrong?

Strange, IceM mod works perfectly for me. I followed the instructions and changed the default time to 75. That slows the clock down to about 2/3. I find that to be perfect and it does not interfere with the Sims work and school times. And yes I have CL and all the packs.
