Sorry, I don't really understand, you wrote: 'the Rising Smoke costs §10 and all the others are grouped with the Miscellaneous Effects at a cost §12 each.' So, is this real money? Sorry for my bad english, I'm from Germany :D

The downloads are free.

In the Sims 2 Buy Mode catalogue, the Rising Smoke costs 10 Simoleons and the rest cost 12 Simoleons.

You're welcome, and thank you for the compliment.

The medieval neighbourhood is really my wife StephSim's Shadows of Gwrych and its additional lots.

The others are amazing, but the rising vapour (the most amazing one sadly) crashes my game when skipping to the page in my catalogue where it is. Anyone an idea what that is about...?

The most obvious cause is that you do not have Nightlife, the EP that this effect requires. However, I see that you have all EPs listed in your game configuration.

Otherwise there could be a conflict with another object with the same GUID - which of course shouldn't happen. You could try checking for the fault with all other custom objects temporarily removed from the game.
