I have tested the laptop with Base Game, patch 1.33.2 (the latest at this time) and it works without problems. Maybe you have downloaded the old version by accident. The latest versions are at the bottom of the downloads list.

Weird, when my sim goes on the laptop he cannot open the computer screen it just stays on like its closed..
Any help with this?

I have a problem with this mod. It works just fine as a computer except in my game when my sim uses the macbook the screen stays folded down. No matter how many times it is used the screen will never fold out, it just stay closed. Do I need to re-download the file or is it something wrong with my game?
