Default Makeup presets CC
So for starting : Sorry, I'm a foreigner, so what I'll say will probably be confusing.

I'm looking for color presets, because the ITF ones are ugly and I am really bad at creating ones. When I use my custom eyeshadows, it only has those as an option.

Is that even something that exists? Custom presets like these?

You can change all the colors in-game with]the color wheel and save them.

I'm also really bad at color palettes for makeup and everything else. It makes me kind of sad when I download some really pretty makeup cc with a bunch of preview color palettes but then none are included in the download. I don't know if there's actually a way for creators to include their presets or not. If you don't mind doing a little work, what I've done is look at makeup like these ones that includes a picture of the color palette:

Then I look for an RGB (Red, Green, Blue) color palette that I can pick some similar colors from (like this one: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_2ObU4IBk...4/s1600/rgb.JPG) and enter those values into the RGB inputs on the Sims 3 color wheel: http://www.enjoy-your-style.com/ima...color-wheel.jpg. Once you find a combo you like, save it. Make a couple and then you'll have some self-created presets to choose from.

I hope that makes sense. If this looks insane to people with good color theory, that's because it kind of is. I wish I was better with color.

Sometimes some makeup sites will have palettes of their colors; I found a post from Besame Cosmetics about their 50's-style makeup, which I'm using heavily as a reference. A good way to find this is entering "MAKEUP COMPANY swatch" or "MAKEUP TYPE swatch" (e.g. Revlon, foundation, etc.) into Google Image Search.

My process is pretty similar to the poster above:

1) Copy your desired reference image and paste it into the image editor of your choice.
2) Use the eyedropper tool to find your preferred shade of makeup.
3) Copy those RGB values into the CAST color wheel, and then lighten the opacity as needed.

Hope this helps!
