Is anyone else having trouble installing?
I cant seem to find anything on google yet.

My game will install to about 30% and then stop for like... ever? lol.
I had to cancel it and start it again.
But... it gets stuck again.
Seems to be on the same file each time...

i know i am supposed to wait it out... but... an hour and a half later? i dont think so!?

i even bought a new computer. My specs are;
Windows Vista
2Gb RAM
AMD athelon dual core 3.10 GHz


help? anyone?

My install took quite a while. At a couple of points it looked like it stopped for 10 or 20 minutes, but it always continued. Just start the install and find something else to do to kill time

Edit: full build is one of the places on mine where it looked like it stopped for a long time. That's normal

Have you tried the "copy disk to hard drive, and install from there" trick that the "FAQ" suggests for Sims 2 installation errors? It`d be interesting to know if that works for Sims 3. The section you want is very small, about halfway down the page, and contains little useful information. It does, however, contain a link to further instructions on the EA site.
