Don't think these have been posted, but if they have please feel free to delete the post (or let me know so I can do it...)

Both of these mods are from the Plumbob Keep:

- Toys and More Surprises, which includes a Toy Making Station that actually uses wood to make toys: http://www.medievalsims.com/forums/...p?f=240&t=10715

- Straight As An Arrow, which is an archery set! Finally, for TS2!! This one I'm very excited about!!: http://www.medievalsims.com/forums/...p?f=240&t=10716

Back with more mermaid and PlantSim options, and non-gaudy baby clothes racks, and non-default, non-plastic toys, and non-modern trash compacters, and both the equipment for a UBI setup in a non-hideous form (apologies to the creator -- it's a great concept, just not aesthetically appealing or suitable for a Simlish game!) and the inspiration to use it as such (along with Simlogical rent/loan shrubs, this should enable me to retire justified "motherlode money" entirely!)...and a relatable mask-grumble (it's jaw, cheekbones, and glasses for me, which is why I'm sticking with the ugly hand-sewn one that covers half my face but is at least thick enough and has minimal gaps). This year is starting to look passably decent!

I'd almost assumed something awful had happened, given the highly unpleasant drama she'd been subjected to right before she stopped posting. (Although I now understand the desire to disappear...) I'm very glad that's not the case!

Lol just made a post about it. Should have looked at your post before I think. But anyway a large mod like this deserves it's own thread too I think.

Also I don't think it's an open world mod just story progression.

As many people remember, Whoward had a few mods posted here a long time ago-then left and created his own page. I recently checked it and he's gotten back into modding, and there's a lot of really interesting mods on there:

Autonomously Eat Leftovers-Starving pixels will do it autonomously.
Crafting skills and tweaks for craft stations-changes moods and abilities.
Specific clothing racks-you can choose which type of clothes to browse through a rack.
Autowalk to work or school.

An addition to the Slow Aging Controller that makes aliens age four times faster than human Sims!
I'm seriously debating putting it in my game, as I already have the amazing Slow Aging Controller edit that differentiates between other life states, the "zombies rot" add-on that this is based on, and the alien token it needs. I am playing aliens now, but haven't played enough days for it to matter that much, and given the extended lifespan I'm using, they'll have plenty of time to use Elixir...but I like aliens a lot, so messing with their lifespan concerns me. I probably will though, because it makes sense in so many ways -- that life on an alien world isn't as improbably easy as Maxis made it out to be and would wear them out faster without careful management, the reason for the Elixir to exist to start with, and the reason a certain Pollination Technician retired after getting stuck on SimEarth. I've recently started using mods that make aliens more, well, alien, and like them, so this looks like a good addition -- although I'm slightly concerned about the holders of fractional alien tokens like Jill Smith is in my game. It's really good to see the alien token being used for more things...maybe if I have enough mods to pick through I can figure out how to exclude aliens from getting carbon monoxide poisoning (from the generator for Lamare's utilities if it's misused), given how it looks like they use haemocyanin rather than haemoglobin (which in itself is as good a reason as any for rapid ageing on SimEarth, especially given the non-optimal food, temperature, and oxygen levels they put up with).

I was on Tumblr, and came across this utterly fascinating post by a Sims 2 developer. Tells all about the way the game was coded, and more.

I've just learned a label for my play style: I'm a Maximizer, people.

Very interesting thread!

EDIT:
Also I loved this line:
Maxis didn't say no to threesomes, just, they didn't have time to make the animations and scripts
