https://2fingerswhiskey.tumblr.com/ (a bit of everything, also has their own downloads, infrequently does huge CC-find "dumps" with 30+ posts where they dig up older goodies, but usually keeps it fairly limited)

What you can do over at Tumblr is to set up an account that only follows active Tumblrs who have stuff you're interested in. When they post something new, it pops up on your wall. If they comment or reblog something, you can choose to follow that site, and soon enough you have your own "finds" page that works very well (and it continues to find things for you - all you have to do is to scroll through it whenever you feel like). There's no need to be active there if you don't want to. It's also much easier to keep track of all the updates for the various Tumblrs when they pop up on their own, instead of having to check the individual blogs every so often.
Also, if there are things you really want, I do suggest to download it when you see it. Things disappear off the interwebs quite fast these days, especially from people deleting their Tumblrs, blogs and sites left and right, sometimes without any prior warning, either because they stop playing, site host problems, "dramabeasts", auto deletions (that's a thing now), and sudden deletions from image- and file hosts.
