I'm so confused. Why do creators just up and leave the face of the earth and take all their cc with them? I was recommended by a blog to check out Hel Studio's CC. From the pictures (that I could find), their stuff looks really well done, and I was excited to download a few of their pieces for a build I'm making. Come to find out, their content is nowhere to be found. Their patreon is giving a weird message saying " This patron isn’t supporting any creators at the moment. I figured I must have been on the wrong page, but there's no link back to the "right" page, and every link that I tried from reblogs all lead to that same page.

I go to their tumblr and all they have on their page are reposts from other creators. In the menu they have "free sets" and "public sets" both of which lead back to the same broken patreon page as aforementioned.

They have an instagram link on their broken patreon that l clicked, and it led me to this page that says the user does not exist: https://www.instagram.com/helstudio777/
I try to message them on tumblr and it says they only accept messages from people they follow, which is fair enough.

I searched high and low on google for an explanation and the only ones I were able to find were these two:

As you can see in the first link, someone states that they think they are taking a break at the moment.

The second link someone says that it's possible to private message them on patreon. The original poster asks how, and they get a response but it's now deleted.

So after my thorough FBI investigation, I still have no idea what's going on lol. Does anybody know what happened and/or if there is a folder somewhere that contains their CC?

This has happened too often with so many creators and I don't get why they don't just leave their CC up even though they are taking a break.

I wholeheartly agree how obnoxious it is.. Ive just learned to download EVERYTHING I like even 2% and hate most of and assume it will be gone within the next hour if I don't. It's just the world we live in sadly. These days no one values data archiving like they used to. This seems to be the internet people want unfortunately... Its not just limited to the sims community. Just give it a few more years, soon the MMD creator mentality will be the norm.
