It's lovely to see some nice things made for men like this. Would you consider adapting the mesh so it will work for teen at some point? (I thought about doing things like this but I'm hopeless...)

Did you put the package file into the correct directory?

now they are there, but how come they aren't available as sleepwear? Actually, I'd rather they be able to be nude for sleeping/swimming

Hmm I dunno. I just figured metallic shiny mankini's weren't really sleeping gear. *strokes her chin*

You can always enable them for whatever you want using S3PE or ctu.
