Amazing behaviours of OFB stages....
I know this is not a new topic, but I just got bored temporarily with RL and things I have to do at the moment, so I went somewhat bonker with the OFB stage but haven't tried all the possibilities I can think of yet...These observations are based on TS2-NL-OFB all patched in Dec 2006 before each newer EP installation.
Pt1.
1. windows will treat the stage just like the ground layer.
2. fences made from the ground can go on the stage as if the stage is the ground for their occupied areas.
3. arch fences still treat the stage as nothing and go on down to the ground.
4. swim pool block can be built under the stage with the undo-delete trick (with the "ctrl" button). Yet, the stage tile over the swim pool disappeared and I failed to tile it, and that is different from other foundation tools.
5. stage side walls and stage tile sides can be graphically silenced by the addition of other foundation tools right by its side(s). With the swim-pool, the stage can basically completely graphically silenced.
6. the ground layer under the stage lost its grid lines and became invisible after a lot reload.
7. the awning's supporters poked through the stage back to the ground layer position while the awning itself was counted as an object on the upper level..
8. the flamingo couldn't be placed under the stage after the stage is made. Yet, it can be placed there before the stage is made by means of the undo-deletion strategy ("ctrl"-delete along with a left-mouse-click-drag at the region(s)). See the next pic.
The flamingo stayed after the stage formation and I could place a flamingo on that stage. After a lot reload, interestingly the ground tile remained while the stage tile remained disappeared.
Pt.2
1. The uppermost part is what one can see when the tool was dragged from a foundation surface towards a stage surface.
2. The middle part shows that the connectin/modular stair has a full graphical presentation on the stage while a missing step for the foundation without the upper level surface.
3. half-walls and fences will be on the stage completely while the default walls will poke through the stage.
4. decks and stages can be on the same level grid surface.
5. decks can be on the OFB stage, an illusion done when some foundation grids are on the stage.
Still under developed, so probably more to add...!

Useful tips Niol,
There is much to do with these stages with the pets since the crash bug is fixed, They have really strange possibilities !
You know a site allowing re-upload of free build/buy stuff in lots ? Help us to update the list !
