So does that mean it's a template world and you are modifying it? I love this by the way. What size is it?

Thank you for the nice comment, Tizerist I use a premade store world, but I cleared it completely and change the terrain with different paints and I adjust the mountains, nature settings and everything except from the distant terrain + the outer mountains and the nice winter terrains on them. They really suit Lord Of The Rings!
I was unable to find the size of the world, but I read somewhere that if a world should use pre-made distant terrains it should be around 2048x2048 But I will try and research some more so I can give you an exact answer!

I am just finishing up the last building of Bree (Not furnished) and then I am off to edit some small details as colors, lights, environment and trees

No, that is actually correct. Wow, I hope you think about releasing it. :D

Wow, nice work! I'm actually thinking of doing an Ultima 7 world (if anyone here is old enough to remember what that is). The idea is to make several maps of the various cities and then connect them with NRAAS traveler.

I think LOTR is a little hard to do especially once you start doing Minas Tirith etc... I can't even fathom a way to do that, hopefully you can figure it out. For the Shire, have you tried making Hobbit holes simply as basements by raising the land via CFE? I think that is possible, maybe.

I made a hobbit hole and uploaded it here , it was a nightmare to build lol! Luckily in the downloads here at MTS there is an Elven build set which is useful. I think Hobbit holes could be doable if they were 'fake' frontages, such as doors plopped into raised and decorated terrain, maybe with, as you say, basements underneath for living in.

I sure am! That's the goal Unfortunately I won't be able to fit all of Middle earth into this world, but hopefully I can get some of the most important ones :D

Great idea! I love Ultima, and I would love to see you do such a combination. I like to have both my dwarfs and hobbits nearby! So my goal is to keep the world playable with the different areas. I just looked up CFE - This is a life saver!! Thank you so much for pointing me to that. I appreciate it. Now I can go make some decent hobbit homes! Minas Tirith is so awe inspiring but unfortunately I have no clue on how to build that lot. I did see someone who made it on The Exchange, and boy that's quite a lot!

Beautiful world, indeed!

I suggest creating a thread in the Sims 3 Creator Feedback Forum, it's a great place!
