This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Showtime, Seasons, University Life, Island Paradise, Into the Future
Default The Sims 3 won't load!
It worked fine until I downloaded like 3 things from this website. Is there a way to see what you downloaded from this website? I don't remember what I downloaded (that's pretty sad). Please Help?

If you don't know how to see what you've installed i can't imagine you even installed it, and it's likely not the problem.

Anything you installed is wherever you installed it. mods are in the mods folder in the programfiles/electronicarts/sims 3 folder and other things are in your downloads folder in your documents/electronicarts/sims 3 folder.

Probably not.

If a download is causing a rpoblem it is a mod. Remove your mods folder and try again. If it works, it's one of them. Put back half. Does it work? It's none of them. Does it break? It's one of them. Step by step piece by piece, that's how you figure it out.

It works! Is there a way to fix this without losing all of my downloads?

You have to put back half.

If it works, then those ones are OK. THen put in half of the rest of htem. Repeat until it stops working.

Once it stops working, you KNOW that what you just put in there is the problem. Then you have to remove things one by one until you figure out which one causes the problem.

Would it work if I removed the saved items and put them in a different folder, uninstalled the game, reinstalled the game, deleted what I kept and put what I kept in the folders. Does it automatially update the game or would it matter?
Coffee, anyone?
