Default Incorperating RH features without one
Not the best title I could think one. Maybe should have to "A world without rabbit holes: would try it".

This is something I wanna try out at some point in a new or testing save. I was wondering how much possible is to play the world without having to long for any particular rabbit hole town facility, when using all the available at disposal to substitute for all of their functionality. Here are my ideas what could be used to accomadate each RH function wise according

- Bookstore and food registers over the bookstore and grocery, though not if
the food register will offer all of the features of a grocery store (such as consigment). Incorperating savvy sellers set can allow to sell the household related items and veggies, while delicious bakery can expand for a wider rage of choice? Assignment that would work best is either a market or the shoo gallery.
- Theater: the premium content from Le Plumbot Cinema venue. If showtime is installed, a stage can be build which will hold concerts and what not. Can have things like barista bars and popcorn machines. Preferable assignment of an arcade.
- City hall, school: for both, University Life offers stuff like the lecture stand and whiteboards that fit very well for both. I also have seen that with many content from the expansion packs and the store been used for incorperating a functional school in Iron Seguals video.
Stadium: a lot that features a showtime stage, a jog track object-mod, gym equipment.
Spa: the sauna, message table and outdoor showers can accomate the lot.
Abandoned warehouse: I might have had something specific setup for this kind of facility, but I seem to forgot. Perhaps to do with a junkyard.

Do have any ideas that can be used to substitute over any kind of rabbit hole? And jf so, would like share ways to have a lot that's close or better in simulating over the rabbit hole counterpart?

P.S. Sorry for my bad english.

well the thing is, none of them can cover the job and employment function. perhaps NRAAS career mod. I mean, I've always wanted a mod that changes all the NPC jobs such as firefighter, police, mixcologists, etc... all to residents, basically 0 NPC.

Sanity is overrated.

Nitromon is a type of Pokemon encountered in the Pokemon Nitrome Version series.

There. Mystery solved.

Further to the above, if there are no school rabbitholes of any kind in town there there will be no educational requirements for children and teens. Your sims will grow up stupid and unfit for functioning in society, but then again there are those who will say that happens both in-game and in real life anyway no matter how many schools there are. See, the function of a mandated educa...oh wait, I've already done this tirade here recently so maybe I should stick to the original question.

I think what you want is the experience that can be provided by Zerbu's Ultimate Career mod. The rabbitholes are still required, off to the side or hidden away in an accessible basement if desired, with skill giving objects placed by the player to enhance, not totally replace, the career/school experience.

I downloaded Castle Keep recently and I really like how the creator hides the RH in an accessible basement with a usable lot above it. Never thought of that before but it looks great

I use the rugs in my worlds. Easy to use and they do not disrupt the look and feel of the world. Simple and it works. That is all I need.

Yeah, I did figured when posting the ultimate careers mod could be incorperated and the fact besides it careers would be missing them. Though I wasn't sure whether. Regardless, I was curious as how many ways you could utilize content and game mechanics that comes close to recreating thess rabbit hole sort. The game and modding over the years have open so many possibilities that almost given redundancy to all rabbit holes, by allowing us to insert their functionality without them.

With the premium content and the gallery shop, you can now build a mall on a huge lot that has varying retail shops that sell anything (savvy seller & indulgent bakery), restaurants and coffee shoops with synthesizer or BAUB set, a sauna/message service, an actual cinema and pretty much anything what I'm missing to mention, with mods making the possibilities almost endless. A dive bar, or any kind could be figuratively build on a warehouse, though not sure amenities could be put there to enhance the aesthetic of a criminal hangout.

If you're up to using copious amounts of store content, there's the casino set.
