Default Alien Child
Story:
It was supposed to be a fresh start on Earth, just you and your parent. Something goes wrong when entering Earth’s atmosphere and your ship veers off coarse. As the ship goes down your parent yells for you to stay in your seat, they’ll fix this. The ground approaches far too quickly and trees rush past the window. With a terrible sound the ship smashes into the ground and you feel pain like you’ve never felt before.

You come to with a pounding headache and bloody nose but still strapped into your seat. You call out but see no sign of your parent. With shaking hands you undo your buckles, freeing yourself from the seat and crawl out of the wreckage. There you see your parent, unconscious and trapped beneath rubble. You run over with a cry, working tirelessly to free them. You lay them down and go back into the wreckage, looking for supplies. You grab the first aid kit and your backpack full clothes and your forged ID. You patch up your parent as best you can and look around. The ship has crashed in the middle of the woods and luckily there’s an abandoned cabin nearby. It’s not much but there’s a roof and place to sleep.

When your parent comes to you help them stagger inside. They fall back to sleep almost immediately but you figure they need the rest. Over the next few days you realize your parent isn’t getting better and spend most of their time sleeping and barely coherent. There’s a town within walking distance where you can buy food as long as you put your disguise on. So you carry on, trying to take care of both yourself and your parent.

Packs needed: GTW is needed to do everything in the challenge, but if you don’t have it you can adjust. You could simply pretend your kid is an alien or remove the alien component entirely and simply make the challenge about a kid and a parent too ill to care for them.

Starting out:
1. Make one alien child of any gender. You can choose or randomize their traits depending on how difficult you want the challenge to be. Give them a parent. I suggest lazy and loner for the parent.
2. Move into a small lot and build a very basic cabin. I recommend making it purposely ugly, to encourage you to renovate when you have the money. After you’ve finished building, set the money to 0 using the cheat: money 0
a. You may have a fridge but no stove, this will keep the adult from cooking anything but a salad.
b. No electronics, but you can use anything that works off the grid
c. No skill items
d. You may buy one toy for the child as long as it fits in their inventory
e. 2 cheap beds (if you don’t want to deal with the monster under the bed, I recommend a double bed for the kid.

Childhood:
Rules:
1. The parent is severely injured and unable to do much. He/she can’t make any money, care for the child, or leave the lot. If you can keep them in the house, even better. Just let the parent care for themself; only controlling to spray the monster under the bed. The parent is too weak to put on a human disguise.
2. I’m going to leave the issue of school up to you. Especially if you have the parenthood pack, missing school is annoying. If you choose to go to school, you can say the child has a fake identity and is trying to blend in.
3. You can only socialize with/befriend children or teenagers, try to avoid interacting with adults.
4. You can’t invite or allow other sims to visit you at your house.
5. You can go to community lots but can only visit a sim’s houses if a child invites you over for a playdate.
6. If someone discovers you’re an alien, you must go home and be confined to your lot. (Must stay on your lot for 24 hours.)
7. You can’t have your parent cook meals for you. Your sources of food will have to come from scavenging for hot dogs/hamburgers at the park, buying food from a vendor (from the pets or seasons pack) or from the “corporate fridge raider revenue generating cooler” (from the GTW pack). I put one corporate fridges in each park, pretending its like a vending machine. If you don’t have either pack, your choices are much more limited and so you may make quick meals.
8. If something breaks, the parent can’t fix it, you must replace it.
9. Can’t hire any services
10. As long as your child makes the money, you can buy small items the child could possibly carry home from the store, for example they could buy a book but not a couch.

Goals:
- complete at least one aspiration (on normal lifespan, if you’re playing on long lifespan you should aim to complete all childhood aspirations)
- don’t let the parent or child die

Teenager:
Once your sim becomes a teen, you can kill off the parent or move them out to never be heard of again. Story wise, the parent has finally succumbed to their injuries and died.
Rules:
1. Your teen can now invite other teens over to their house and start romantic relationships. However, no one may move in with you.
2. Now’s the time you can start making serious purchases and start remodeling the house as much as you like/can afford.
3. You may now adopt a stray dog/cat for companionship but this is completely optional
4. Even if your sim didn’t go to elementary school, they must attend high school. They are now trying to integrate in human society as much as possible.
5. You may now go back on the grid if you wish, but you must pay the bills.

Goals:
- Get an A in high school
- Never miss a payment if you have bills turned on.

Young Adult and onward:
You’ve finally made it to adulthood and now it’s time to go home. You need to build a portal OR build and fully upgrade a spaceship. Once you’ve made it back to your home planet, you have a choice to make. Stay on Earth or go back home? If you choose to stay on Earth you can go back to your house and perhaps marry a highschool sweetheart. If you choose to go back to Sixam you must move, build yourself a new more modern and sci-fi looking house, and can only marry other aliens.
Rules:
1. You can choose any career but I highly suggest scientist or astronaut
2. You can date but you can’t marry or have children until you’ve completed the challenge.

Goals:
- Travel back to Sixam via a portal or spaceship
- Make the decision

And that’s that, lemme know if you have any questions. This is my first time making a challenge and feedback is highly appreciated.
