WOW you guys, these pictures are all incredible! The thing I love the most about this thread is to see how much people's tastes changed as far as custom content, default genetics, etc...

JadeEliott... All I can say is "wow" Your building skills from back in the day vs. now is simply jaw-dropping. I love your Isle of Thyme neighborhood, and the mayor mansion is beautiful!!!

Aijux... What a difference!!! You know I love your decorating work, and that recent shot of the brown bedroom is amazing.

Babolat85... I don't think the before house is all that bad, actually. The roofline is very unique!

inkbottleblue... Yolanda is simply stunning!!!

Lillubibi... Amazing before and after difference with the decorating. I love that latest nursery. So cute!

This isn't really 'ancient', it's like more than a year old. I wish I saved the old pictures which I had before reinstalling the game: the pictures I've had since actually playing sims for the first time. I remember one of my first sims, her name was Emma, she was a child and lived with her dad and her little brother. xD
I can't remember this sim's name...

An amusing experiment... got my old laptop of 4 years FINALLY fixed. Set it up compleatly bare playing base game only. Lets compare it to the new one shall we. (same brightening, sharpening etc etc, what I use on new comp pics).

Old - Gahhh it burns!

New - Ahhhh...:D

Although... apart from the black leaves, if I actually edited the brightness and sharpening to suit the graphics. Surprising.

This is the best thread! It's so fun to see how everyone's picture taking and sim making skills have improved so drasticly. I wish I had some of my really, really old stuff. This is all about a yaer old, and I can still see a pretty major change.

This is a really interesting thread. It looks like a lot of people have less CC than when they started...or better.

I switch computers 2 years ago so this is the oldest photo of a Sim I had. I used her for a contest:

And my current favorite sim, Ella Fairfax:
