i have read many articles on how winebottler is the best app for converting windows apps to be able to run on macs. i am trying to download the castexturetool. i put it in winebottler and it converts it, but then when i try to open it shows up in the dock for like one second and then dissapears. i also tried mono and tried to open it using termanal but it said there was an error. i thought it was a corrupt file but i downloaded it on a pc and it worked, but only after i downloaded directx. so, i was thinking maybe if i downloaded directx using winebottler it would work but that didn't work either. i have honestly looked everywhere but i don't know why it won't work. please help

maybe you also need framework to be installed as CTU needs it to work properly(see download thread)
