Yes, correct. That workaround for XML with the unpackedmod folder business isn't needed anymore with the Oct.1st patch installed.

These mods are fine with the 10-21 patch, the files used here weren't altered in the patch.

im having trouble with most of my mods. (not yours they work great! but youre the only creator ive found who seems to reply to feedback so apologies)
any mods that arent package files - .7z .zip .rar & .py/pyo files - they didn't show up when I unpacked them. some other users said script mods shouldn't be unpacked, so I either rezipped or downloaded the mods again. now the game recognizes the mods, but they don't work in game. any suggestions?

As I understood the business with Script mods, they are supposed to be .zip, not .rar or .7z. I don't know that this is precisely true, I may have misunderstood what SGModSquad wrote about this, he may have simply meant that they need to be "zipped". Otherwise I suggest that the .py files are not supposed to be in the mod, installed in the game, together with the .pyo files. If you have both types of file (on the exact same thing, the exact same name) inside the .zip as delivered by the modder, I suggest deleting the .py files inside your copy and try with the .pyo files alone, and see if it makes a difference.

Hi Shimrod101 can you please tell me which file i need to download to use in the game? i did not download the original file so dont know which one is the old file,
is it blur50_v3, or blur_v3?

great file by the way i hate how it blurs in the background, thanks for making it.
thanks for your time,

Both files are valid today. The one called blur is the mod pictured to remove the blur effect. The blur50 mod is to remove 50% of the blur (approximately) so the effect is still seen, but not as blurry as the EA vanilla game.

I can move this mod out of the Mods folder and back again at will, the default blur returns and then my modded noblur works again, there's never been a problem. Is this what you're doing, moving my file yourself, or are you using one of the mod manager programs?
