It depends on what you made them as. If they are like dds files, you should be able to take them into TSRW or
S3PE and save as sims3pack files. dds files are extensions you download to your comp depending on your paint program, Gimp or paint or Photoshop or whatever.
... and you're now in the main discussion forum. Most information on caw may look outdated, but so is the program. I would look in the create/sims3/create-a-world in the menu above, or just google for it. There is no limit to the information gathered by googling.
