I really wanted to find some cool ethnic hairs for my black sims but I can't find many that I like (I have found some though). So I thought "hey why not make them yourself?" I'm a huge beginner and I have 0 experience creating or modifying cc. A lot of tutorials that I've looked at seemed too complicated too follow. Making hair meshes is definitely not for a beginner but I really want some hairs. Do any of you guys have great tutorials for beginners?

I don't want to discourage you or anything, but making decent hairs for Sims 3 is a LOT of work, and making meshes in general requires that you have information and skills to use the programs you're making it with. Unless you really want to learn it and make hairs of your own, you should just watch the tutorials you've watched with a great patience.

BUT, my advice is that you'd contact with people who makes quality hairstyles in The Sims 3, and ask them to make some ethnic hairstyles to be shared. After all, The Sims 3 isn't buried yet, and won't be for a long time, so you should be able to find someone who still makes them hairstyles for 3 regulary.
