Can you tell me what exactly is not working? Are you able to claim the photo frame? Do the Sims go towards it but then not use the desk? Do the Sims not even go towards it and just do the normal action of going for the nearest desk? etc.

can you make this for rooms too so everyone claims their own room please. I really hate when sims are tired and they go to different rooms to sleep.

Alright, quick question (and probably already answered, but too tired to scan...) - the pics show the locator on the left side, and the homework gets placed on the right - is this correct? Looks like an awesome item! Just want to be sure I use properly.

As long as the locator is on the same square as any part of the desk (and not in the normal slot on the right of the desk where the homework wants to be placed) it will work. This includes shelves above the desk, OMSP positions and on the floor underneath (requiring a move cheat but allowing the locator to be hidden by those that don't like to see it). For OMSP positions, there is a link to a mini-tutorial on the main thread to show you how.

You should make something like this for pet beds, that would be so cool!

Very good mod, thanks a lot! It always bugged me that they never used the desks I intended for them to do the homeworks on. It's like they were coded to love doing homework on the hard cold floor.

I am not sure if anyone else has mentioned this issue.. but in my game I have noticed that whenever the side of the desk with the drawers is against the wall or has another object on that side, sims wont place their homework on the desk and instead put it on the floor. it seems they have to place it from the side of the desk and not the front. I am using M&G as my highest ep and don't have university. when I had just double deluxe and nightlife it worked fine. either way though at least my sims don't try to hide their homework in the garage or barn anymore. thanks for that.

You are a genious! In almost every family I end up with some kid that decides to put their homework away somewhere strange when I'm not looking, and I can't ever find it again and grades drop. This ought to do the trick to stop that from happening all the time Thank you very much!
