Default Problem with attic rooms and roof intersection
Hello,

I've built a home with attic rooms with a help of this great tutorial.

However I've discovered a problem in a place when the two perpenndicular roofs meet. On the left side, everything is ok - the tiles along the "contact line" are concave, the line is straight and is straight it looks great from the inside of the attic room.

However, on the right side the tiles are convex, so the "contact line" is serrated and it looks ugly from inside.

Both sides have been created in the same time with the same method. I'm really confused why they are different. I've tried to rebuild the right side in different ways and the tiles are always convex. When I try to build simular structures it in other places of the rooom the tiles are alwyas convex. Any idea why the left side is concave and how to recreate it on the right side?

Best regards,
MJZ

I think I remember seeing a vaulted ceiling tutorial by armiel on youtube but if I remember correctly there was also an issue with intersections and a wall was built where they met. I imagine in a house as small as yours that might not work.

Could you upload the pics here on mts as attachments to your post please? Just click edit on your post.

I'm a lazy bastard and tbh I'm not the only one. To be able to discuss this in a good way, the pics needs to be ready available. I actually did try to click the links, but I don't know where they got to. I can't find them now, and frankly if they were downloaded I'm a bit annoyed taking up space on my mobile phone.

I'm just being honest. Sorry if I offended you.

Edit: hm ... I wonder. Issues with right and left corners, is that it? The game has some odd ideas about apparently equal looking corners. I will have to see your creations though, to be able to help find solutions.

Very fast answer here lolz. Have you tried using walls as helpers. Drag a diagonal wall to push the corners down, and remove it when you're finished. This is how ts3 works, you just have work around it.

I think Volvenom's method might work. I also remember a tutorial from Crowkeeper I think? That using different tiles where the corners meet should help. I'd have to try and see for myself what works, been a while since I've made cfe attics with corners.

Edit:
I just tried, and I got the damn poking corners on both sides, with both methods. Tried putting fences and walls on top of the corners to no avail.

If you remember me, I'm awesome!
