Back To Nature - Shop & Lifestyle Challenge
Back To Nature - Shop & Lifestyle ChallengeRequires Get to Work & Outdoor Retreat
The idea of the challenge is to own your own market stall (shop) and live honestly with no career or easy money making like painting. You will live mainly outdoors and live off the land, selling things you dig, fish, cook, craft or harvest.

No aspirations that compliment a career
No selling items direct within the game, all items must be placed in the shop to be sold
No easy money making skills such as painting , no photographs other than to take pictures of your family for display and not to be sold.
No Spouse or potential room mates of any kind to bring money to the house hold (use cheat to take away the money)
No computers or TV - try not to use the phone to much
No gaming rigs or other types of technology
No to shop employees - you and your family will run the shop
YES
YES to instruments as these can be used to get tips from customers in your shop

YES to skill items such as chess or gaming table
YES to breeding frogs, but they must be sold from your shop and not within the game
YES to making your own furniture and selling in the shop
Easier Game?
Eat/cook anything from the cooking/baking/grilling list
Harder game?
Only eat/cook with items you have grown/fished/harvested . Go fishing and cook on the fire pit! Or cook/bake on the oven with fish or your own grown veggies/fruits.
GOALS
Live a sim life without the pressures of modern day living and careers. Get married, have children and pass on your legacy and SHOP to the next generation.
The challenge can go on as long or as short as you want it but the main aim is for your starting Sim to have passed on the shop and passed on themselves.
Single YA Sim must have the following
1. Aspiration: Nature - Freelance Botanist, Angling Ace or Curator
You can also use any that does not involve a career.
2. Traits to suit the aspiration you have chosen, example loves outdoors.
Music Lover is also a good one to choose as you are allowed to play instruments for tips.
STARING THE CHALLENGE
1. Buy smallest plot on any world map
2. Buy a retail plot and build on it - this is the plot you will live and work on. You may use the starting plot to move in extra FAMILY Sims that you don’t want to take over the shop when your main Sims dies.
STARTING ITEMS (please see pictures in album)
Lice cold retail fridge - Sims can auto purchase cooked/baked/grilled food, grown vegetables/fruit from this (now working)
Tent
Cooker & Grill
Fridge
Fire Pit
Shower
Toilet
Sink
Woodworking table
Counter & cash register
All the items can be found easily in the buy mode and most are from outdoor retreat or get to work packs. You don’t have to have the exact items shown, these are an example.
Use all the money you have left to beautify your plot until you have none left
HARDER GAME? Start as a rags to riches challenge - example have nothing on your plot and no money
