I've been having the same problem. Even though I've long since unistalled Seasons...my skies are more often not blue, if not downright hazy. I recently made a garden, and I found out accidently that everyday, for about 2 hours, the skies is closest to blue. So I staticked the needs of my active sims, and FF to the time it was sorta blue out.

This is my second generations family home. It is kinda small and odd shaped, especially upstrairs, but I don't care. It is cute and cozy little home.

The parents room, with small "powder room", no shower just toilet if they are in a hurry. It even has a drawer far over the left.

Nursery, you can't see her, but there is a baby in the crib. I notice that the cat is pretty much in all the pictures, which was not my intention. They do have their own free will lol.

Downstrairs is lot more spacious with open kitchen with dining area; six seat table, full bath, laundryroom and nice size living room with fireplace and doorway to backyard.

I know this is a houses and landscaping thread, but is it ok if I post the dive bar I made since I don't see a public lot pics thread?

I am working on a new neighborhood. I wanted something, that I know from where I live. So I started with CAW...

This part is nearly finished, a small lane in the historical center:

I'm guessing those four agrees mean it's ok?

Ok then. This is Sailor Joe's, a dive bar I made for Moonlight Falls. More specifically, it's a hunter's bar.

I'm very happy with it as it is but I feel like it needs something more. I'm trying to keep it as light on the CC (so far I only have one light from B5) as I can and only use the Supernatural and Late Night expansions.

Really nice bar! It´s the kind of building you can find everywhere, boring at first sight, nothing special but...

In a way that is much more difficult to build than one wood think.

I based the exterior on a real bar I found online. Sometimes you just need something simple and mundane to add a touch of realism. :D

Indeed, RL is the best place to find inspiration.

Some more pictures of my town. I have to admit, that nothing here is finished, and most of the time I am still working on the historical town center.

A street view:

Here a view to the station and the surrounding quarter, a bit outdated:

That is stunning, this is the sort of thing I like, these type of old European towns. I am trying to imagine what it would look like with Venetian Gondola venue placed somewhere...wow.

Yay, some activity!

@srenton89,
I like the new shots, pretty nice house!

@scoopy_loopy,
that is definately a room to my likes - gooks, books, books!

@Jmac90,
stunning houses! B5´s windows - a must have! And it is nice to see again some "normal" houses, as this kind of architecture often is underrated and underepresented in Sims 3. Very nice!

@tizerist,
thank you! I did work a bit on my file, some more details are done.
I try to hide lot borders here:

The marketplace now:

Again a garden between two lots:

I want it:

The "Schlossplatz":

The church: inside from north-east,

Seen from the street with first details like the bus stop:

Nothing here is finished, all work in progress.

The architecture in this thread is so inspiring! I particularly love the historical buildings, with their lovely textures and authentic design

I'm making over Barnacle Bay and I wanted to share pictures of a few of the buildings I've created.

'Safe Haven', a house from the agricultural district, owned by an elderly couple who run an animal rescue center.

'Breaking Waves', a much more modern, clifftop build on the other side of Barnacle Bay, and home to the local crime lords.

And finally the local school, right in the center of town.

I definately can´t say, what I like more, the historical things like I work on, or the modern houses like the one on the third picture. It is an interesting idea and well realized. You did spend some thoughts into small details like the correspondending size of windows, or changing the direction of the wave. I love that.
Also the farm is stunning , while the school - well, it´s a school and they look this way. Really good work, especially with the diagonals, but I hate it, although I am an old fart now. Why don´t we give the kids of our Sims nice schools? Is this, cause we think, they should suffer like we did?

Luckily I did not show a picture of the school in my town. It is an uninspired building, something you can only use serious, if you would burn it down. I should give it a name like Ramones School.
