A new version of this mod cuts down the blur by 50% as suggested in the comments. Use one or the other of the mods, not both at the same time.

MedievalMods and Sims3mods: Dive Cave Reset Fix, Resort Revamp, Industrial Oven Revamp, Will O' Wisp fix, UI Sounds Disabled, No Cars, Gnome Family Planner, Townies Out on the Town, No Martial Arts Clothes, Fast Skilling, etc. http://simsasylum.com/tfm/

Default Thank you so much for this mod
I apologize in advance for my ignorance but I'm new to this site. I have fraps program installed and since installing this mod they are running at around 100 fps. They used to run at 60 and no higher. Do you think this mod is the cause and do you think I should be concerned for my graphics card? I really like the mod. I love no blur in the background. Thank you for your help.

I really don't know about this FPS stuff, but if it were me I wouldn't worry about it. There was that well known problem with Sims3 where people were getting 3000 FPS because there was no frame-limiter in the game. 100 is a long ways from that.

I would suggest checking the website for your computer or graphics card/chip manufacturer as they may have some article on what the card tolerates.

Thank you very much for your reply. I absolutely love the remove blur. Did you know that you can now see a big city (tall buildings and stuff) off in the distance? It's lovely really.

I finally got to sit down with the 50% mod and I love it. I think it's the right amount. Thanks again for whipping that up so fast.

Thank you so much for this... the fade is nice, but it can hurt the quality of pictures, especially for scenery! Thanks for giving the option of reduced fade too; I'm probably going to download that part! I appreciate that you took the time to do both.
