Oh this is so cool. I can't wait to try it out. I'm so impressed that you stuck with something that probably made you want to tear your own hair out. Thanks for sharing the result of that frustration with the rest of us. Everytime I see stuff like this I remember why the objects I make stay in my own DL folder

You're incredible. VERY good job. First Sim anything I've downloaded in weeks! (Haven't been playing either, but I am sure I will again soon, now that I've got this!)

This is wonderful! I had a tire swing as a child, but (because of the problems you mentioned about custom swings) I never figured I'd see one for my sims. Great work, truly!

I love your tree tire swing.

Update: July 2009-I am back now to make invisible and tranparent recolors again in sims 2. You can pm me if you want your objects to be invisible and transparent from now.

It's great to see something like this! Unfortunately for me, the tire swings I'm used to look more like this: http://www.markzaugg.com/old/2005/apr15/tire_swing3.jpg
I'd absolutely love to see one like that for the sims, it seems to me the animations could work out properly for that kind as well. Regardless, this is a great creation and I will be downloading it! Thanks!

Thanks for the comments everyone!

Greenbean, I'll take a look at what I can do with that one. I don't think its possible to stick two sims on the same swing, and as I remember those swings working, you really need more than one on it. Also those tended to go in more than one direction, but I'll see what it'll do.

Phaenoh, absolutely great work on the swing! Is there any way to get the download for that barn in the background? It is beautiful too.

This is awesome! Great idea. I realize it took an awful lot of work to get everthing to work right, but it looks as if everyone really appreciates the time you took. Thank you very much!

This is such an awesome concept! I can't even imagine how difficult it was to make. I can barely grasp doing recolors. lol. Of course I am a self-proclaimed technotard. I can't wait to see this swing in my game. Thank you so much for sharing!!!!

I love this and I don't care about little graphic glitches. I *hate* the Maxis swing, it looks so... unromantic? Tire swing on the other hand is quite cute ^_^ Thank you so much!

I think I have to download this JUST because you spent so much time on it and it came out so well! Thank you so much for working till it came out well. It looks amazing!

And the added touch of the tire coming from one of maxis' cars is just brilliance!
