Default Adding Custom Video on TV Channel / Movie Channel Doesn't work anymore

From This Tutorial, It seems like Siberian GRemlin's VP6Converter and Generic Stream Creator is unable to download anymore. When I tried another VP6 Converter, The screen on TV goes black (replacing a channel with VP60 converted video in S4PE as the tutorial says). Anyone tried it? The post itself is very old and i'm not sure if it's still work at this time.
