You mean the Stanley Hotel? Yes, that's where I got the name from, and it kind of looks like it. I did base this house on the hotel from the Remake of "The Shining", which was more true to the book. (I've read it, really good story!) I think it is a wonderful hotel, and I would like to see it someday. But anyways, thank you to all who like it. And there will be more large mansions like this in the future. By the way, here's a pic of the Stanley Hotel to compare my house to.

This is cool. I can't wait to use it in game.

I've stayed and performedat the Stanley Hotel, btw (reading your convo about the basis of the manor). It's fun, and they play the first version of the Shining all the time. It's too bad they don't air the remake, because I've heard that they did film the remake on the premises. Oh well.

Good work, thank you for sharing!

Strange that they don't want you to see the movie made at the hotel. Maybe they don't wnat you to think there are ghosts there and run away, causing bad publicity... Or maybe it's because the remake is creepier... :skull:

Oh, and thanks to everybody that likes it, it did take quite a while to finish it!

You mena how did I upload it? If you want to know that, go to the create section or the faq section and learn how. If your asking how to download it, just click on it, download it to C:/Mydocuments?EAgames?TheSims2?downloads. Extract it and you're done. If that doesn't help, go to the Download FAQ section.
