Good job! But you have to correct that textures.

I'm going to stop modding the sims 2.

Hey PDRS i know everytime i go to Material Definition i put it on 0.5.

For the Twister tube i put the reflextivit on 0.0 and look it still came out with a shine.

Glad you like it though.

Although it really doesn't bother me (the shine), it still looks great in-game.

Look so cool.

Update: July 2009-I am back now to make invisible and tranparent recolors again in sims 2. You can pm me if you want your objects to be invisible and transparent from now.

Hey AbstractSIMmer187!
Wow, great job! I love it! :lovestruc
But I think I know why the textures are so weird.
Like Paco already said, you've cloned an object with a shiny texture, but you don't have to clone another object to change this!
Look @ the material definition of your object, normally you will see this:
-stdMatEnvCubeMode: reflection
change this to - none -
-stdMatEnvCubeCoef: 0.1,0.1,0.1 (or other numbers higher then 0)
change this to - 0,0,0
-stdMatEnvCubeTextureName: reflectionkitchenhighcontrast-envcube
(could be something different too)
delete this!
your object should be normal again

(P.S.: still give you a 5 for the effort and amazing mesh! )

I actually like the shine alot It reminds me of the metal slides I used to go on when I was little. I'll just think of the rest as plastic, really shiny plastic Excellent job! Thanks!

Edit: No problem Abstract! Can't wait to see what else you make

Travis, no one is going to be able to animate it. Custom animations aren't very popular at the moment. It would be something very hard to do. Stick with the sculpturing for now.

Once again, thanks for this!

Its really cool. But it bothers me that the sliding looks more like spiral than a sliding. You should make so it looks like a hole...

Hi, thanks for sharing. I just know how to recolor stuff, so I have to rely on the talented people who can clone and make something new for the game. I think this is great. I don't understand how come E.A. only put swings in the game instead of a set of playground equipment like in the first game. Evan though this isn't animated, it will still make playgrounds and backyards look more the part and it is just a game. I f you can do something like this, then props to you.

Thanks, the twister slide reminds me of the pet playground used in TS1: Unleashed.
