I'm having trouble with these...

I downloaded them and put them into my game, and for some reason they show up as pants with a picture of a naked sim, and it seems to be missing portions in the torso/showing through the shirt the sim is currently wearing (because they show up as being pants). I'm really confused. Is there anyway I could fix this? Is anyone else getting this problem, or is it just me?

GMO - The issue reported above is likely caused by having created these with Pets installed, but not patched. Go to the official Sims 2 site (thesims2.ea.com) and get the Pets patch. Then make new projects from the same mesh and just copy over your textures, and reimport them. Pets, despite not adding anything to Body Shop, added that delightful little bug for stuff created with Pets showing up wrongly for people who don't have Pets.

Whichever game version you have. If you have a disk, get the CD/DVD patch. If you downloaded the game through EA Link, get the digital download patch.

You'll make a new project as if you're starting a brand new outfit using that same mesh. Then copy the textures from the existing projects (assuming you still have them) over to the folder for the new project and Import. The problem is with the file that Body Shop makes when it packs everything up - you just need to repack it.

so if i just re-import it, the upload will work well with everyone who had trouble?
and do you mean the helaene mesh i used? and must i give it the same name? cause i cant imagine it working without being the same file.
but im trying it out right now

1. Make a new project in Body Shop, selecting Helaene's mesh and her original recolour she used for it. It doesn't matter what you name it.
2. Copy the textures from your existing projects into this new project folder - just the bmp files. It will ask if you want to replace those files. Say yes.
3. Import your new texture to game, creating a new file in SavedSims.
4. Repeat for the other recolours.
5. Upload your new files from SavedSims.

Hopefully that will clarify.
