Nice idea, I haven't had any pets die yet. This will make a nice addition to the neighborhood.

I quiet enjoy building, and populating, Sim graveyards... But building pet ones always depresses me. (I have many, many pets in my game because I keep them alive with the petfood of life thing, and just adopt them out to another family when my Sims die, lol.)
But I left my game running unattended the other day, and I came back and both my Sim's dog's had died...so it'll be lovely to ahve somewhere nice for them :D

Hum... but those are normal statues, they're not pet tombs.
